SCHOOL RUN , VICTORY TRIP , QUEEN'S PLAIN and PRINCESS ANALIA lost one length. PRINCESS ANALIA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. At approximately the 1100 metre mark HEART OF A LEGEND and EDEN GARDEN GLITZ became cramped for galloping room on the inside of DIAMOND NOIR who had shifted inwards. Thereafter at approximately the 800 metre mark DAYDREAM BELIEVER and VICTORY TRIP were momentarily inconvenienced on the inside of DIAMOND NOIR. Apprentice Gates signed an admission of guilt in that as the rider of DIAMOND NOIR, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to the runners on his inside at approximately the 1100 metre mark. He was suspended for a period of 7 days. MULHER DE BRANCO was baulked from approximately the 350 and 150 metre marks. DIAMOND NOIR was hanging out over the final 300 metres. In view of the performances of HEART OF A LEGEND, DUNZIE, EDEN GARDEN GLITZ and DAYDREAM BELIEVER, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies. SCHOOL RUN raced with tongue tie. QUEEN'S PLAIN raced with ear muffs. Vet: HEART OF A LEGEND - nothing obvious detected. DUNZIE - nothing obvious detected. EDEN GARDEN GLITZ - nothing obvious detected. DAYDREAM BELIEVER - nothing obvious detected. MULHER DE BRANCO - coughing. SCHOOL RUN - coughing. Scratched: CAPE ORCHID - no transport available.
