The start of this Race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race and the withdrawal of KARIBA SUNRISE, which was the tote favourite. The race time was re-scheduled to 12h48 for the betting public to restructure their bets. Thereafter GABBY BE GOOD refused to load and was subsequently withdrawn by the Starter. The Starting Stall Certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. KEHILA stumbled shortly after the start. BARKER jumped awkwardly leaving stalls. Shortly after the start, ROMANI and JUST ROYAL BLUE came together and bumped. In view of the Starter's report with regard to GABBY BE GOOD, this filly was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading in the starting stalls with a companion. GABBY BE GOOD may not be presented for repassing during this period. Jockey Yeo reported that YOUNG ENGLAND made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. JUST ROYAL BLUE raced wide around the turn and into the straight. THE GARDNER GIRL was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ROMANI and BOOMERANG BEACH raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind. JUST ROYAL BLUE raced equipped with alumites in front and steels behind. The Ownership of BOOMERANG BEACH should read: Messrs L J Human (Jnr) & L J Human; the Colours are: royal blue, bright green crossed sashes and sleeves, quartered cap (sold with engagements).
