Prior to the running of race 3, protest action by the ground staff was initiated and was resolved. This incident caused a delay to the start of this race and race times were re-scheduled by the racing operator. ROYAL ADVISOR and SILKEN PRINCE lost one length. PHILOS jumped outwards leaving the stalls. Shortly after the start, GYPSY'S ANSWER was awkwardly placed between CAMEL WALK and GOOD EMPEROR. Jockey Marwing reported that KING OF POP changed stride continually in running. In view of the performance of CAMEL WALK, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. Trainer Gray was requested to report back to the Board on the condition of this colt on return to stables. Jockey Habib reported that ROYAL ADVISOR changed stride continually and made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. KING OF THE DELTA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. GOOD EMPEROR raced with a tongue tie on. PHILOS raced with a tongue tie on. Vet: CAMEL WALK and ROYAL ADVISOR - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. KING OF POP - not striding out right front.
