THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RATTLE MOUSE (J Bekker) and FYNBOS (S Mbhele) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Approaching the 200m, RATTLE MOUSE (J Bekker) had to steady when awkwardly placed between REWRITE THE STARS (K de Melo) and MOROCCAN FLAME (C Zackey) which rolled out. Thereafter RATTLE MOUSE (J Bekker) was unable to secure a clear run until the finish. b) In the concluding stages, Jockey C Zackey was unable to ride MOROCCAN FLAME to the finish when awkwardly placed between BOLD DIVA (*J Solomons) which rolled out slightly and REWRITE THE STARS (K de Melo). c) FYNBOS (S Mbhele) was unable to obtain a clear run in the latter stages and as a consequence was unable to ride his mount out vigorously to the finish. d) BOLD DIVA, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
