CAPTAIN SPLENDID was slow into stride. MR WINSOME and HYAKU both lost 1 length. MADE TO CONQUER and STRATHDON were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. SILVER DE LANGE shifted in shortly after the start carrying HERO QUEST inwards. Jockey Yeni the rider of SILVER DE LANGE appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and was advised to take more care when shifting ground in races in future. HYAKU over-raced in the early and middle stages. SHEET WEAVER was hanging in throughout and was difficult to assist. In view of this the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Jockey Fayd'herbe the rider of CAPTAIN SPLENDID reported this gelding took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. In view of the performance of HERO QUEST the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. MADE TO CONQUER was carried in by STRATHDON over the final 350 metres resulting in these geldings making contact on several occasions. An Inquiry will be held into this incident. TECHNO CAPTAIN raced fitted with his tongue tied down. TECHNO CAPTAIN raced fitted with ear-muffs. Vet: SHEET WEAVER - nothing obvious detected. CAPTAIN SPLENDID - lame left fore. HERO QUEST - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: SHENANIGANS - no transport.
