BRAXTON proved reluctant to canter to the start which caused a delay to the start of this race. BRAXTON, LA BASTIDE and BEST KEPT SECRET were slow into stride. BRAXTON proved reluctant to canter to the start. Trainer Houdalakis was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future, she may be suspended. In view of the performance of LA BASTIDE, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Assistant Trainer Mansour was requested to report back to the Board on the condition of this filly on return to stables. At approximately the 150m, BRAXTON was bumped by SPRING BREEZE which rolled in marginally resulting in Jockey Yeni dropping his left side rein which he regained thereafter. In the concluding stages, SPRING BREEZE and BEING FABULOUS (AUS) came together and bumped. COMME-CI-COMME-CA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. BEST KEPT SECRET raced equipped with pacifiers. Vet: BEING FABULOUS (AUS) - abnormal respiratory noise. LA BASTIDE - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. Scratched: LA ROQUETTE - abnormal temperature.
