THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BALL ROLLING (N Quale) and JACALAC (P Strydom) were slow losing one length. b) DARK VISION (L Hewitson) jumped outwards and MAGOKORO (C Habib) and BELIEVEINTHEFUTURE (G Lerena) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. c) DYNAVISION (J Greyling), PIN DROP (W Kennedy) and SPARTAN WARRIOR (J Sampson) were restless in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) STONE COLD (D De Gouveia) over-raced in the early stages and thereafter commenced to hang in from the 1000m. b) At approximately the 900m, JUST SMILE (*L J Ferraris) was brushed out by BOLD RESOLVE (S Khumalo) which rolled out. c) In view of the performance of BOLD RESOLVE (S Khumalo), (distance 7,60 lengths, betting 2/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Assistant Trainer A Ndzilana was requested to report back to the Board on the condition of this gelding on return to stables. d) Jockey M van Rensburg reported that he felt something amiss with MIDNIGHT CALLER in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. e) Jockey C Habib reported that MAGOKORO made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. f) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning DYNAVISION, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this colt is suspended from racing for a period of sixty days in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority.
