ISOVAR, REMEMBER ME and SIOUXPERPHILI were slow into stride. At approximately the 1100m BOURBON BOUQUET, PACHANGA and PETITE AIME raced wide when taking evasive action to avoid GO FUGGI, which had broken down. At approximately the 1000m REMEMBER ME made contact with the inside running rail and thereafter commenced to give ground to the field from the 500m. Approaching the 300m RATION MY PASSION (NZ) was carried in by ISOVAR, which was hanging in. At approximately the 200m SIOUXPERPHILI had to switch out to avoid the heels of TWENTYFOURKMAGIC, which had come to the end of its run. MWELASE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. TWENTYFOURKMAGIC - raced equipped with a tongue tie. Vet: GO FUGGI - fractured left front pastern (severe). Humanely euthanased. Specimens collected for analysis.
