The start of the 1st Race was delayed as a result of THE NEW GENERATION and SOLICITOR GENERAL being injured in the stalls and having to be scratched by the Veterinary Surgeon. All horses were removed from the stalls and then reloaded after the Veterinary Surgeon was finished examining the affected runners. SOLICITOR GENERAL reared over and was removed from the stalls. THE NEW GENERATION was injured by SOLICTOR GENERAL in the stalls. AULD REEKIE was slow into stride. BLACK CREEK lost 1 length. ROMAN DANCER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. BLACK CREEK raced green. ROMAN DANCER was carried in by PICKAWINNER from the 500 to the 400 metre marks. Thereafter ROMAN DANCER was hanging out over the final 300 metres and shifted out approaching the 200 metre mark despite Jockey Fayd'herbe's attempts to maintain a straight course. This resulted in PICKAWINNER having to be eased off the heels of ROMAN DANCER. Apprentice Ramzan the rider of FLYING GEORGE had a satisfactory qualifying ride. In view of the Starter's Report concerning SOLICITOR GENERAL , this colt has been suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable in the starting stalls with a companion. Suspension dates : 20.6.2018 - 26.6.2018. SOLICITOR GENERAL may not be presented for repassing during this period. Vet: SOLICITOR GENERAL - reared in stalls.
