WISHFUL WORDS was difficult to load. RAPID ROXY and SOUTHERN DYNASTY were both slow into stride losing 1 length. GRECIAN LAUREL was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. The saddle on EETEE slipped forward at approximately the 400-metre mark and this filly was hanging in badly over the final 300 metres and shifted in brushing, unbalancing and carrying LUNEBURG inwards at approximately the 100-metre mark. This resulted in WISHFUL WORDS being inconvenienced on the inside running rail. Apprentice Moodley the rider of PERFECT PREZZIE reported this filly took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. In view of the performances of KHETIWE (AUS), LITTLE AUDREY and SOUTHERN DYNASTY the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies. Apprentice Ferraris the rider of JAYDEN'S SHREYA reported that he felt something amiss with this filly in the latter stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Apprentice Jacobs the rider of KHETIWE (AUS) had a satisfactory qualifying ride. In view of the Starter's Report concerning WISHFUL WORDS the starting stall certificate for this filly was withdrawn until recertified tractable with a companion. JAYDEN'S SHREYA raced fitted with cheek-pieces. Vet: SOUTHERN DYNASTY, PERFECT PREZZIE, KHETIWE (AUS), JAYDEN'S SHREYA and LITTLE AUDREY - nothing obvious detected.
