FRESHLY GROUND was nervous in the stalls. SUPREME WINTER, JIMMY TWIST and SHERU (USA) were slow into stride. THE LANDLORD was reluctant to proceed to the start and had to be led. In view of the history of this gelding's tractability, it was suspended and is to be re-passed on course to proceed to the start to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Board prior to racing again. JIMMY TWIST was squeezed out shortly after the start between GETAFIX and THE LANDLORD which jumped inwards. In the closing stages JIMMY TWIST was brushed inwards by SUNNY which shifted in away from the crop. Jockey Fortune reported that he felt something amiss with GETAFIX in the running and did not persevere with his ride from the 600m. SUPREME WINTER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: SLEEK GOLD and GETAFIX - were not striding out in front.
