PIDGEON ROCK proved reluctant to canter to the start. THEREAFTER, shortly before arriving at the start, this gelding dislodged APPRENTICE L HEWITSON AND BOLTED. PIDGEON ROCK was subsequently scratched by the Veterinary Surgeon. As PIDGEON ROCK was the favourite, the time of this race was rescheduled to 14:05 to allow the betting public time to restructure their bets. AQUILA WARRIOR stumbled shortly after the start. KANSAS CITY and GREELEY'S GALAXY lost 1 length. Due to PIDGEON ROCK proving reluctant to canter to the start, this gelding was suspended until it proves tractable cantering to the start on a race day. Jockey Agrella reported that he felt something amiss with TIFFANY'S AT EIGHT in running and did not persevere with his ride in the concluding stages.
