THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ARISTACHUS (D De Gouveia) refused to load. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Trainer F C de Beer was advised (PHvdW). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In the concluding stages, COPPER MOUNTAIN (G Lerena), which shifted out away from the crop, and GOLDEN PHEASANT (M Yeni), which shifted in away from the crop, came together and brushed. b) Jockey S Khumalo reported he felt something amiss with KAYLA'S CHAMP in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) In view of the Starter's report with regard to ARISTACHUS, this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading with a companion. Suspension dates: 08.11.20 to the 14.11.20. ARISTACHUS may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer F C de Beer was advised. d) COPPER MOUNTAIN (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer J J van Vuuren advised (LN). JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
