PEARL OF SIBERIA broke through the front gate, was restrained by the rider, and returned to the start, inspected by the veterinary surgeon, declared fit to race and reloaded. PEARL OF SIBERIA broke through the front gate, was restrained by the rider, and returned to the start, inspected by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race and reloaded. The starting stalls certificate for this gelding was withdrawn. MISCHIEVOUS GREEN lost 1 length. In view of the Starter's report with regard to PEARL OF SIBERIA, this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable in the starting stalls. Suspension dates: 20 July 2018 to 26 July 2018. PEARL OF SIBERIA may not be presented for repassing during this period. At approximately the 200m PEARL OF SIBERIA had to ease when awkwardly placed between SAINT MICHAEL, which shifted out away from the crop, and DEAGO DELUXE (AUS), which shifted in away from the crop. The Board, after reviewing the patrol film of this incident, was of the opinion that blame could not be apportioned to any individual rider and therefore took no further action. ROYAL CAVALIER, TUDOR MANOR and DEAGO DELUXE (AUS) were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. PEARL OF SIBERIA raced equipped with alumite shoes in front, unshod behind. ALPHAMIKEFOXTROT raced without blinkers, raced equipped with alumite shoes in front, unshod behind. DEAGO DELUXE (AUS) raced equipped with alumite shoes in front, unshod behind.
