There was a slight delay to the start of the 6th Race due to the 30 minute gap between Race 5 and Race 6. RUN RED lost 1 length. GUNNER and HAYLOR both were slow into stride. AMOR ARDIENTE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. In view of the performances of SYLVESTER THE CAT, RUN RED and DANCE OFF the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses. Jockey Lerena, the rider of GUNNER reported this gelding not striding out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. HAYLOR was momentarily eased at approximately the 1000 metre mark as a result of CAMPHORATUS shifting in. Jockey Zackey, the rider of CAMPHORATUS appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and was advised that when racing from a wide draw and shifting in to obtain a position he must be mindful of runners on his inside and not put undue pressure on these runners. DANCE OFF was hanging out on the bend and into the straight. BRIGHTEYEBUSHYTAIL raced fitted with alumite bar shoes both fore and alumites behind. Vet: RUN RED and DANCE OFF - coughing. GUNNER - not striding out right hind. SYLVESTER THE CAT - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: JUBILEE LINE - change of race meeting date - Rule 49.19 (Trainer - advised 08h02/16.7.2018).
