THE STARTER REPORTED: a) HAPPY WANDERER (S Veale) was restless in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) BYRIDGE (L Hewitson) shifted out away from the crop from the 250m. b) HEY BOY (D Schwarz) raced wide throughout. c) MAJORCA PALACE (B Jacobson), QUANT MASTER (S Randolph) and PACIFIC WINTER (C Storey) raced wide around the turn and into the straight. d) Jockey D Dillon reported that TREADING WATER (11.10 lengths) choked up in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) Jockey W Agrella signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 21.13, in that he failed to fulfil his riding engagement in this Race. In considering what action to take against Jockey W Agrella, several factors were taken into consideration which included in particular, the timeous notice by Jockey W Agrella regarding this issue. Accordingly, a penalty of a warning was imposed. f) KINGS ROAD (A Marcus), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Binda advised (DA).
