The start of this race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race as well as THE HONEY BADGER refusing to load and subsequently having to be scratched by the Starter. THE HONEY BADGER refused to load. The Starting Stall Certificate for this gelding was withdrawn. PEKING TYSON lost one length. AERONAUTICAL lost two lengths. RUNNING FURY jumped inwards leaving the stalls. The sectional timing device on AERONAUTICAL became dislodged shortly after the start. In view of the Starter's report with regard to THE HONEY BADGER, this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading in the stalls with a companion on a raceday. Suspension dates: 25 July 2018 to 31 July 2018. THE HONEY BADGER may not be presented for repassing during this period. Jockey Sampson reported that FELIX FANDANGO changed stride continually in running. Approaching the 400m, RUNNING FURY had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed between SHARP GITANO and FELIX FANDANGO. Thereafter at approximately the 200m, RUNNING FURY had to switch out to avoid the heels of FELIX FANDANGO which shifted in sharply away from the crop. In the concluding stages, SHARP GITANO had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed between THE BARRY BURN and PEKING TYSON. In the concluding stages, GOLDEN LION was carried in marginally by BRONX BOMBER which was hanging in. BRONX BOMBER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. THE BARRY BURN raced with a tongue tie on. AERONAUTICAL raced equipped with pacifiers. Vet: RUNNING FURY and FELIX FANDANGO - examined post-race, nothing obvious detected. THE BARRY BURN - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE - cut into right hind. THE HONEY BADGER - refused to load.
