THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE THIRTY MINUTE INTERVAL BETWEEN RACES 1 AND 2. THEREAFTER DURING THE LOADING PROCESS, PLAYBOY PRINCE BROKE THROUGH THE FRONT GATES, DISLODGED WORKRIDER C SIMPSON AND BOLTED THE COURSE. THIS GELDING WAS SUBSEQUENTLY SCRATCHED BY THE COURSE VETERINARY SURGEON. THIS INCIDENT CAUSED A FURTHER DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PLAYBOY PRINCE (+C Simpson) broke through the front gate dislodging Workrider Simpson and bolted the course. The Starting Stall Certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. b) IMITATION GAME (+J Gwingwizha) was stubborn loading. c) ARRAN (+K Fisher) and MARS ROVER (+T Baase) were restless in the stalls. d) PRINCESS SABRINA (+M Pillay) was restless in the stalls and thereafter slow into stride. e) PRINCE IMPERIAL (+A Sumbe) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. f) PANAMA KID (+D Cooper) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to PLAYBOY PRINCE, this gelding has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading and jumping on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 10 November 2020 to 16 November 2020. PLAYBOY PRINCE may not be presented for repassing during this period. Trainer J S Roux advised (PHvdW). b) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning ALACRITAS, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended from racing for a period of one hundred and twenty days (120) (2nd episode) in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Stable Employee C Saphire advised (NHA). c) LORD AMOUR (+L Mafethe) shifted out away from the crop from the 400m. d) In the concluding stages, LOVE LIES (+S Mosia), ALACRITAS (+T Matsoele) and CLEVELAND (+L Majenge) were carried in by ARRAN (+K Fisher) which shifted in away from the crop and was straightened. e) PANAMA KID (+D Cooper), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) FREEZING FAST raced without blinkers and with a tongue tie on (declared 9 November 2020 at 08H08). b) PANAMA KID raced without alumites and equipped with steel shoes (declared 9 November 2020 at 07H18). c) PRINCE IMPERIAL raced with a tongue tie on (declared 9 November 2020 at 06H36). PRINCE IMPERIAL Workrider A Sumbe weighed out at 59,7kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight. d) PRINCESS SABRINA raced unshod (declared 9 November 2020 at 04H09). THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) MARS ROVER cut into right hind. b) ALACRITAS epistaxis, (2nd episode), recommended 120 day suspension. Stable Employee C Saphire advised (RS).
