CLIPPER CAPTAIN reared in the stalls and got his leg over the side of the stall. Was taken out, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and declared fit to run. DIVINE LAW was squeezed out shortly after the start was affected. In view of the above report from the Starter regarding CLIPPER CAPTAIN, Trainer Snaith will be advised to have this colt re-schooled before his next engagement. In view of the performances from ROCK OF ASIA and TARSUS, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses on their return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. LANZA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: CLIPPER CAPTAIN - examined at the start and declared fit to race. ROCK OF ASIA - returned lame near hind. TARSUS - examined post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. Scratched: BENELUX - strained the hind quarter muscle.
