THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BRAVE DETAIL (+B Mlangeni) was slow losing three lengths. Assistant Trainer C Bowles was advised to re-school this gelding prior to its next engagement (PHvdW). b) THE BOOGEYMAN (+P Mlangeni) was restless in the stalls. c) ROCKPAPERSCISSORS (S Mosia) was restless in the stalls and slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) A race review was called into the start regarding ROCKPAPERSCISSORS (+S Mosia) in stall gate 10. The Board established that the Handler allocated to this gelding had in fact removed the hood timeously, and therefore, no further action was taken regarding this incident. b) At approximately 1400m, STORMY MOON (+I Lukhele) and EXPRESSION SESSION (+J Gwingwizha) were carried out by RAMOAN (+M Duba) which commenced to over-race and was switched out to avoid running onto the heels of WILD HERITAGE (+T Matsoele). c) Workrider G Dadamasi was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that he struck the horse LEADING LAD more than twelve times in the entire race. Workrider Dadamasi signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in One Workrider race. Date of Suspension: 15 December 2020. d) TROOPER (+P Mongqawa), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer A Peter advised (GF). WORKRIDER CHANGES: a) SPOOKY was ridden by Workrider S Siphika (declared 9 November 2020 at 07H15). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) DAVID'S PALACE raced without blinkers (declared 9 November 2020 at 06H08). b) SUMMERDALE raced without blinkers (declared 8 November 2020 at 16H12). c) LIGHT WITHOUT Workrider K Fisher weighed out at 57,7kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight. THE VETERINARY SURGEON HAD NO REPORTS. SCRATCHED: a) SILVER SEA reserve runner. Advised 5 November 2020 at 12H05. DISQUALIFIED / DECLARED NON-RUNNER: None.
