OSTINATO lost two lengths and was slow into stride. In view of the performance from OSTINATO, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. STAR OF LONDON elected to switch to the outside of THE BOSTON ROSE at the top of the straight and thereafter was brushed inwards by PASSION PEACH and became awkwardly placed on the heels of THE BOSTON ROSE for a number of strides at the 400m. THE BOSTON ROSE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: OSTINATO - was examined post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
