Jockey Zechner reported that he felt something amiss with VARTANIUM in running. Assistant Trainer Mansour was requested to report back to the Board on the condition of this colt on return to stables. At approximately the 400m, INDY ICE shifted in sharply away from the crop and was immediately straightened. Thereafter INDY ICE shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages. CLOCKWORK shifted both ways away from the crop at the 400m. MAKE YOUR MOVE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. VARTANIUM raced with a tongue tie on. Vet: CLOCKWORK - coughing. VARTANIUM - examined post-race, nothing obvious detected.
