THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 300m, KENNETH MACARTHUR (W Kennedy) and THERAVADA (M V'Rensburg) had to ease when awkwardly placed on the inside of MASTER OF DESTINY (T Godden) which shifted in to continue its run. Jockey T Godden signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 62.2.7, in that as the rider of MASTER OF DESTINY, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to KENNETH MACARTHUR (W Kennedy) and THERAVADA (M V'Rensburg) at the 300m. In deciding what action to take against Jockey T Godden, the Board took into consideration that his last offence under Rule 62.2.7 was on 01.01.2019. Consequently, in light of this clean record, the Board elected to impose a penalty of a suspension from riding in races for a period of 7 days. (Suspension Dates: 16.11.20 to the 22.11.20, bdi). However, Jockey T Godden was advised that should a similar incident occur in future, a more severe sanction may be imposed. b) At the 250m, SOVEREIGN SOLDIER (D Dillon) was awkwardly placed between BORDEAUX (*J Gates) and TECHNO CAPTAIN (M Yeni) which was hanging out from the 300m, proving difficult to assist. c) Approaching the 150m, GENTLEMAN'S WAY (W Agrella) and MASTER OF DESTINY (T Godden) were carried in by FREEDOM OF SPEECH (A Marcus) which had come to the end of its run and shifted in off the heels of MASTER TOBE (K de Melo) which shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. d) In view of the performance of THERAVADA (M V'Rensburg) (9.65 lengths) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) MASTER TOBE (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer H Dixon acted on behalf of Trainer M Dixon advised (ML). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) THERAVADA was ridden by Jockey M V'Rensburg (advised 12.11.20/07h59). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
