BENJAN jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. JUDDERING ANGEL was restless in the stalls and slow into stride. Stable Employee Ms Richardson, acting on behalf of Trainer Sands, failed to obtain prior consent from the Rider at declarations, which resulted in a change of rider on 13/08/2018 at 11h00 to ride the horse SIBERIAN HUSKY. RED MARS was hanging out throughout. At the 500m PACK A PUNCH was carried inwards for a number of strides by EARL OF WARWICK, which was hanging in. PACK A PUNCH was tightened for galloping room for a number of strides shortly before the finish, and Jockey Andrews, rider of PACK A PUNCH reported that this gelding made an abnormal respiratory noise post-race. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the gelding on its return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. JUDDERING ANGEL was hanging in, in the straight. EARL OF WARWICK was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: RED MARS - returned making an abnormal respiratory noise. RIVER CAM - returned blowing. SIBERIAN HUSKY - returned short on the right fore. PACK A PUNCH - examined post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
