TRAVEL IN STYLE was restless in the stalls. In view of the performance from FAVOLA, which took no interest throughout and raced wide on the bend, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. Jockey Andrews, rider of DUBAI QUEEN reported that this filly did not stride out freely in the latter stages. In view of the performance from PHILAE, Jockey Orffer did not persevere with this riding in the latter stages. SEATTLE SOUND was hanging out in the latter stages. When questioned regarding the performance from OLOYE today, compared to the filly's previous two races when she finished 11 lengths behind, Stable Employee Ms H Richardson, acting on behalf of Trainer A E Sands, told the Stewards she could offer no explanation for her previous two disappointing races. The Stewards noted that the filly had been given a rest and for today's run she carried 8kg less than in her previous race. Ms Richardson's attention was drawn to the Rule pertaining to in and out running. OLOYE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: FAVOLA - returned striding short in front. DUBAI QUEEN - returned striding short on the right fore. PHILAE - returned blowing.
