EXCESSIVE GRACE, O SOLE MIO and SECOND REQUEST all lost 1 length. LA BELLA was restless in the stalls. Removed, checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and reloaded. JAYDEN'S SHREYA broke through the front gates and restrained by Jockey Khan at the 900 metre mark. Returned to the start, checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and reloaded. LA VALETTE got her head caught to the side. Removed from the stalls, checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and reloaded. LA BELLA and MARZIPAN PATH were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. As the start was affected MARZIPAN PATH jumped inwards making contact with and unbalancing BRONNIE. This resulted in Apprentice Ngwane being dislodged shortly thereafter. As the start was effected SPRING LIGHTNING jumped inwards making contact with JAYDEN'S SHREYA and FOREIGN CANDY carrying these horses inwards. Jockey Khan the rider of JAYDEN'S SHREYA reported that he felt something amiss with this mare in running. EETEE was hanging in over the final 500 metres, shifted in brushing MARZIPAN PATH approaching the 200 metre mark and thereafter MARZIPAN PATH was forced to switch in off the heels of the riderless BRONNIE. In view of the Starter's Report concerning JAYDEN'S SHREYA this mare was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable in the starting stalls with a companion. Suspension dates: 19.8.2018 - 25.8.2018. JAYDEN'S SHREYA may not be presented for repassing during this period. Jockey Marcus, whilst riding LA BELLA he used his crop with excessive frequency in the closing stages. SPRING LIGHTNING and MARZIPAN PATH raced fitted with alumites both fore and unshod behind (advised 09h47/10.8.2018). Vet: JAYDEN'S SHREYA - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: AMEX - virus.
