ISHNANA lost 1 length. MONTE CHRISTO and TRIBAL FUSION were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. TOP FORM was squeezed out shortly after the start. Jockey Khan the rider of TOP FORM reported that this gelding was never travelling well and as a result he did not persevere with his ride in the latter stages. Apprentice Ferraris, the rider of MACDUFF (AUS) reported this gelding took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Jockey Dillon, the rider of TRIBAL FUSION accidentally dropped his crop passing the 200 metre mark. TOP FORM returned post-race having cast the right fore shoe. PHELAN LUCKY (AUS) raced fitted with ear-muffs. Vet: TOP FORM - nothing obvious detected. MACDUFF (AUS) - not striding out right fore.
