During the loading process, ELUSIVE CORAL broke through the front gate dislodging apprentice de Gouveia. This filly was taken in hand, returned to the start, inspected by the course veterinary surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. This incident caused a delay to the start of this race. During the loading process, MRS WILS in stall gate 6 kicked the back gate which resulted in ELUSIVE CORAL in stall gate 5 breaking through the front gate. SOMEONE'S SECRET was restless in the stalls. Assistant Trainer Mansour was advised to re-school this filly prior to her next engagement. ARABIAN SUNRISE was slow losing three lengths. BOUZOUKIS was slowly losing one length. Jockey Kennedy reported that OLD OAK did not stride out freely in running. In view of the performance of ELUSIVE CORAL, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. BULLSADE and PACHANGA selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. CORAL REEF raced with a tongue tie on. Vet: OLD OAK - examined post-race, nothing obvious detected. ELUSIVE CORAL - abnormal respiratory noise and lame left front.
