TRUMPS TRIUMPH proved stubborn to load which caused a delay to the start of this race. ROBUSTO (NZ) and EIGHTY FOUR were slow away losing one length. TRUMPS TRIUMPH proved stubborn to load. The Starting Stall Certificate for this gelding was withdrawn. Jockey Zackey reported that MARCHER LORD made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. At approximately the 1400m, ROBUSTO (NZ) bumped the inside running rail resulting in this gelding becoming unbalanced and losing momentum. Thereafter at the 800m, Apprentice Schwarz felt something amiss with ROBUSTO (NZ) and eased him out of the race. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine ROBUSTO (NZ). In view of the Starter's report with regard to TRUMPS TRIUMPH, this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable loading into the starting stalls. Suspension dates: 22 August 2018 - 28 August 2018. TRUMPS TRIUMPH may not be presented for repassing during this period. SKIMINAC was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: MARCHER LORD - abnormal respiratory noise. ROBUSTO (NZ) - coughing. Scratched: GYPSY'S ANSWER - not striding out.
