MARSHALL THAT and PATA PATA both jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls and thereafter were slow into stride. PATA PATA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. In view of the performance of SWAKOPMUND, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Jockey Zackey the rider of CHANTYMAN reported this colt making an abnormal respiratory noise in running. SWAKOPMUND raced fitted with ear-muffs. SO VAR raced fitted with a Cornell collar. PATA PATA and GRATUITY raced fitted with ear-muffs. Vet: SWAKOPMUND - blowing. CHANTYMAN - severe abnormal respiratory noise. MARSHALL THAT - abnormal respiratory noise. PATA PATA - mouth injury.
