The start of this race was delayed due to the delay in the previous races and MOGOK'S TIME spreading its left fore shoe en route to the start which had to be refitted by the Course Farrier. ZALIKA was nervous in the stalls. Jockey Fayd'Herbe reported that MOGOK'S TIME was not striding out freely in the running. PEGGED FOR SUCCESS over raced in the early and middle stages and thereafter took an awkward stride passing the 400m. WILDCAT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: MOGOK'S TIME - nothing obvious detected. PEGGED FOR SUCCESS - not striding out left fore. SILVER RESERVE - speedy cut left hind.
