SILVER SONG reared in the stalls. HARD CORE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. In view of the Starter's report concerning SILVER SONG, this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time that he proves tractable in the starting stalls with a companion. Suspension dates: 26.08.2018 - 01.09.2018. SILVER SONG may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Approaching the 200 metre mark SILVER SONG shifted in from the crop. Simultaneously HARD CORE was hanging out, shifted out slightly resulting in SILVER SONG being inconvenienced off the heels of HARD CORE. Apprentice Moodley the rider of SCOTTISH BLUE reported this gelding coughed at the pull up. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. ZIG ZAGI ZUGI raced green and was hanging in, in the latter stages. Vet: SCOTTISH BLUE - coughing. TIAGO REAL - scalped left hind.
