The start of this Race was slightly delayed due to the farrier having to replace the left front shoe on ANNELINE at the start. TIMEOUS, ANNELINE and JE SUIS SILVER lost one length. BONNIE DAWN lost five lengths. KATEECADOR was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. In view of the performance of ANNELINE the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. In view of the Starter's report concerning BONNIE DAWN, this mare was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time that she proves tractable in the starting stalls with a companion.
