JUST TOO EARLY stumbled leaving the stalls. SILVER SPUR was nervous in the stalls and thereafter slow into stride. RASTA BAY was stubborn loading. ROKATENDA kicked the back gate in the stalls. BIG JAY'S was slow into stride. Jockey Penny reported that he felt something amiss with STIR IT UP in the running. In view of the performance of SILVER SPUR, the Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Leaving the 100m, NEUF DE PAPE had to ease off the heels of RASTA BAY when carried in by BIG JAY'S which shifted in. Jockey Fortune failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to NEUF DE PAPE leaving the 100m whilst riding BIG JAY'S. AMERICAN CAPTAIN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: NEUF DE PAPE and STIR IT UP - not striding out in front. SILVER SPUR - not striding out in front and coughed post race. RASTA BAY - post race distress syndrome. FORT VIVA - abnormal respiratory noise. SEATTLE SPELL - abnormal respiratory noise. SAVETHEBESTFORLAST - not striding out right hind.
