CURBSTONE SHUFFLE lost 2 lengths. ALL I GOT was slow into stride. Apprentice Hewitson reported that he felt something amiss with NEW ZEALAND in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Apprentice Hewitson reported that the saddle on NEW ZEALAND slipped back in running, which was confirmed by the Veterinary Surgeon. In view of the performance from FLOWING GOWN, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. Trainer Nieuwenhuizen was requested to report back on the condition of FLOWING GOWN on return to the stables. PENNY FROM HEAVEN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. EXCLUSIVITY raced equipped with a tongue tie. Vet: NEW ZEALAND - not striding out right front. FLOWING GOWN - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. CURBSTONE SHUFFLE - not striding out left front; abnormal respiratory noise.
