J J'S CAPTAIN was very stubborn and difficult to load. ISHNANA lost 1 length. LET'S PLAY BALL lost 2 lengths. SOCRATES was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. GRATUITY broke down and fell leaving the 400 metre mark. As a result PATHWAY TO GLORY was severely hampered by and made contact with GRATUITY dislodging Jockey Randolph. ISHNANA was switched inwards as a result of this incident. Jockey Veale the rider of LET'S PLAY BALL reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding in running. In view of the Starter's Report concerning J J'S CAPTAIN the starting stall certificate for this gelding was withdrawn and he was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable in the starting stalls with a companion. Suspension dates: 16.9.2018 - 22.9.2018. J J'S CAPTAIN may not be presented for re-passing during this period. GRATUITY raced fitted with ear-muffs. Vet: GRATUITY - broke down right fore. LET'S PLAY BALL - nothing obvious detected. PATHWAY TO GLORY - lame right hind, injured right hind hock. CHANTYMAN - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: MY MAJESTIC GLORY (AUS) - jarred right fore joint. J J'S CAPTAIN - refused to load.
