STREETFIGHTING MAN (AUS) jumped awkwardly inwards losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. SIBERIAN HUSKY was slow losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. Shortly after the start STREETFIGHTING MAN (AUS) had to ease when brushed by SIBERIAN HUSKY, which was turned inwards when SIBERIAN HUSKY shifted in away from IN THE JUNGLE, which had shifted in sharply and was straightened. Jockey Domeyer, rider of IN THE JUNGLE appeared before the Board with regard to the incident. Whilst he accepted that he had attempted to straighten his mount, the angle at which he shifted inwards was too sharp, and therefore the jockeys to his inside could not anticipate that he would straighten before moving onto their racing line. He was warned with regard to the manner in which he shifts in from the start in future races. IN THE JUNGLE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
