CAMPHORATUS leaned back in the stalls as the start was effected losing two lengths. ESSENCEOFLIFE was restless in the stalls, threw her head down as the start was affected and was slow into stride. PEARL GLOW lost one length. PENNY ROYAL was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. A race review was called by a Stipendiary Steward into the start with regard to ESSENCEOFLIFE and CAMPHORATUS. Having viewed the patrol video from the various angles, the Board was satisfied that both horses were slow away due to the horses' action and that they were not impeded. Therefore ESSENCEOFLIFE and CAMPHORATUS were declared as runners. In view of the performance of PEARL GLOW the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
