BYRON BAY reared in the stalls. KALAHARI CHROME lost one length. TI GAR over-raced in the early stages. At approximately the 1200m, MYVIEW which rolled out, clipped the heels of MYRRH. At approximately the 1000m, FRENCH LEAVE had to steady when awkwardly placed on the inside of MYVIEW. Approaching the 200m, PERFECT PURSUIT shifted out away from the crop. Simultaneously, INDY ICE commenced to hang out. Thereafter at approximately the 150m, PERFECT PURSUIT was bumped out by INDY ICE which continued to hang out. A race review was called by a member of the Stipendiary Board which was followed by an Objection being lodged by Assistant Trainer Mansour on behalf of the 2nd placed horse PERFECT PURSUIT against the winner INDY ICE on the grounds of intimidation and interference from the 150m. After reviewing the patrol film of race, the Board was of the opinion that the result had been affected by this incident and that PERFECT PURSUIT would have finished ahead of INDY ICE and therefore upheld the Objection and amended the Judges result. INDY ICE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. KALAHARI CHROME is a grey gelding and not a chestnut gelding as carded. Vet: TI GAR - abnormal respiratory noise.
