Apprentice Arries did not ride at today's meeting. Medically indisposed. Jockey Randolph and Jockey Samuel were examined by the Medical Officer and were declared fit to ride. COASTAL STORM was stubborn to load. Trainer Lunn was advised to re-school this filly. TEETOTAL was slow into stride. INNOCENTLY NAUGHTY lost six lengths. DIECI was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. A race review was called into the start with regard to INNOCENTLY NAUGHTY. The Stipendiary Board, after viewing the patrol videos and hearing the evidence from the starting staff, declared INNOCENTLY NAUGHTY a non-runner as a result of the lead rein on the left hand side of this filly not being fully detached from the pressure halter as the start was effected resulting in this filly losing significant ground. DUCHESS LANE raced green. MARZIPAN PATH was hanging in, and was difficult to assist over the final 350 metres. BY THE WAY returned post-race having spread the right hind shoe. INNOCENTLY NAUGHTY raced with cheek pieces. MARZIPAN PATH raced with alumites in front, unshod behind. The ownership of MAKHET should read: Dr P Mnganga & Messrs Sadha Naidoo & M J L Nairac; and the Colours are: black, white maltese cross, halved sleeves, white cap, black peak. .
