MARCHER LORD over-raced in the early stages resulting in this gelding racing wide around the turn. Jockey Danielson reported that CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE took no interest in running. In view of the performance of TSITSIKAMMA BUSH, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. BRAVE LUCIANO shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. PERFACT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. PORT KEY new colours: OLD GOLD, ROYAL BLUE SEAMS, OLD GOLD CAP ownership unchanged. Vet: CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE - not striding out left front. TSITSIKAMMA BUSH - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. BRAVE LUCIANO - abnormal respiratory noise.
