HEY BOY was fractious in the stalls, broke through the front gate, dislodged the rider and bolted the course causing a delay. HEY BOY was withdrawn. ROB ROY was slow into stride. HEY BOY proved difficult and reluctant to parade and proceeded to the start. In view of the report from the Starter regarding HEY BOY, Trainer Stewart was advised that this gelding's starting stall certificate was withdrawn and will be required to be passed tractable on a race day with a companion. BOLD CUPID faltered shortly after the finishing post and had to be dismounted and treated by the Veterinary Surgeon in the pull up and therefore, due to the delay Jockey Khathi was declared to have carried the correct weight. TRIPPI'S EXPRESS and ROB ROY were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: BOLD CUPID - broke down, suspected fracture, lame on the left fore. ROB ROY - returned making an abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: AUGUSTINA - shin sore. HEY BOY - bolted the course back to the parade ring and was withdrawn.
