ROCK ON WOOD which was restless in the stalls jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. KNOW THE ROPES was slow losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. GO THE DISTANCE restless in the stalls. Jockey Andrews, rider of KNOW THE ROPES reported that this mare made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the mare on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. FRONT AND CENTRE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: KNOW THE ROPES - returned making an abnormal respiratory noise.
