The start of this Race was delayed due to the farrier having to refit the left fore shoe on ANTONY HOTSPUR at the start. ANTONY HOTSPUR became restless shortly before the start was affected. SEA URCHIN and WORLD MISSION lost one length. DRAGEDA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. WORLD MISSION over-raced in the early stages. MASTER OF MISCHIEF was momentarily cramped near the 200 metre mark. SYLVESTER THE CAT compounded and did not persevere within the closing stages. Jockey Marcus the rider of ANTONY HOTSPUR reported this gelding not striding out freely in the closing stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine SYLVESTER THE CAT and ANTONY HOTSPUR. Vet: SYLVESTER THE CAT - nothing obvious detected. ANTONY HOTSPUR - not striding out left fore. Scratched: ROCKY COAST - elevated temperature.
