There was a delay to the start of the 7th Race due to the previous race delay. WARFARER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ROY HAD ENOUGH (AUS) was inconvenienced shortly after the start. Entering the final straight MARCHINGONTOGETHER was inconvenienced on the inside of a tiring CELTIC CAPTAIN. Jockey Lerena the rider of CELTIC CAPTAIN reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding and as a result did not persevere with his ride over the final 300 metres. Jockey Veale the rider of AMERICAN LANDING reported that he felt something amiss with this colt in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. Vet: CELTIC CAPTAIN - blowing and fatigued. AMERICAN LANDING - not striding out right hind. Scratched: RUN RHINO RUN - elevated temperature. ONE MAN SHOW - stood on nail right fore.
