SAN FERMIN (AUS) and IN THE DANCE lost one length. XPLOSIVE KISS jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. CLOUD BREAK was restless in the stalls. Jockeys Zackey, rider of HEAVEN'S REWARD and Lerena, rider of XPLOSIVE KISS reported that they felt something amiss with their respective mounts in running. Jockey Khumalo struck the horse IN THE DANCE more than three times on consecutive strides. When assessing this penalty, the Board took into consideration the severity of the crop use. IN THE DANCE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. CLOUD BREAK raced with a tongue tie on. Vet: HEAVEN'S REWARD and XPLOSIVE KISS - examined post-race, nothing obvious detected.
