Due to the delay in the previous race, the time for race 8 was re-scheduled to 16:55:00 after discussions with the Operator. WRECKING BALL and PRINCE OF KAHAL were squeezed out shortly after the start. BIG MISTAKE jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. Leaving the 200m, PRINCE OF KAHAL had to check when carried in by REBEL'S CHAMP which shifted in to avoid EFFORTLESS REWARD (AUS) which had come to the end of its run and lugged in. The Board after reviewing the incident was of the opinion that this was a racing incident and could not apportion any blame to any individual rider. RIVARINE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
