The start of this race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race, the 25-minute interval between races 4 and 5, as well as the late scratching of ILHA DA VARLETTE (injured in the stalls) and BIG BLUE MARBLE (refused to load). ILHA DA VARLETTE was unruly in the stalls, injured itself and scratched by the Veterinary Surgeon. The starting stalls certificate for this filly was withdrawn. BIG BLUE MARBLE refused to load and was scratched by the Starter. The starting stalls certificate for this gelding was withdrawn. ORAVAR lost 1 length. In view of the Starter's report with regard to ILHA DA VARLETTE, this filly was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable jumping on terms with a companion on a race day. Suspension dates: 16 November 2018 to 22 November 2018. ILHA DA VARLETTE may not be presented for repassing during this period. In view of the Starter's report with regard to BIG BLUE MARBLE, this gelding was suspended and until such time as it loads to the satisfaction of the Starter at three consecutive race meetings. ORAVAR cast its left front shoe in running and shifted out away from the crop from the 200m. PALACE CHAPEL was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Scratched: PHILLYDELPHIA - insufficient recovery time. BIG BLUE MARBLE - refused to load. ILHA DA VARLETTE - injured in the stalls.
