THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) VARVACIOUS (S Moodley) reared in the stalls. Trainer L Forbes was advised to re-school this filly.
b) FOURTH DIMENSION (D Dillon) reared in the stalls, was removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and withdrawn.
c) CONCHITA (*T Gumede) lost 1 length.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to FOURTH DIMENSION (D Dillon), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 23.11.20 to the 29.11.20. FOURTH DIMENSION may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer K Naidoo was advised. (SN)
b) At the 1000m, in a tightly bunched field, ACANTHA (M Yeni) had to ease when awkwardly placed on the inside of MISS TEXAS (A Marcus) which shifted in sharply in reaction to a marginal inward movement by TOSTADA (G Wright).
c) At the 300m, MISS TEXAS (A Marcus) was momentarily inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on the heels of VARVACIOUS (S Moodley) which shifted out to continue its run.
d) At the 250m, UMZINDUZI (L Hewitson) was carried in by IT MUST BE LOVE (A Mgudlwa) which rolled in.
e) UMZINDUZI (L Hewitson) was hanging out in the concluding stages.
f) HOROSCOPE (S Veale) raced greenly in the running.
g) Trainer L Denysschen signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 11.2.8, in that he presented IMPERIAL SEAL in the parade ring incorrectly equipped for this Race. Accordingly, a penalty of a warning was issued.
h) UMZINDUZI (L Hewitson), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee M Trott acting on behalf of Trainer S J Snaith advised (SC).
