SEARCHING and SEA BEAN were slow away. SEA BEAN was reluctant to canter and proceed to the start, it had to be led. The Trainer was advised that should this mare behave in the similar manner in future, it may be suspended. SEARCHING over-raced in the early stages and in view of the performance of this filly, the Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Jockey Mxothwa reported that he felt something amiss with CHIT CHAT in the running. Apprentice Mphanya reported the saddle slipped back on CLOSE TO MY HEART in the running which was confirmed by the Stipendiary Steward and in view of the performance of this filly, the Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. SEA BEAN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ROCKSETTE raced equipped with a tongue tie. Vet: CHIT CHAT - lame left fore. SEARCHING - lame right fore. SEEKING WISDOM - abnormal respiratory noise. CLOSE TO MY HEART - examined post race, nothing obvious detected.
